PRESIDENT Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa has restructured the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, splitting it into two separate portfolios with immediate effect.
The newly created ministries are the Ministry of Lands and Rural Development and the Ministry of Agriculture, Mechanisation and Water Resources Development.
Further to this review, President Mnangagwa has appointed Honourable Vangelis Haritatos as Minister of Lands and Rural Development, while Dr Anxious Masuka is now the Minister of Agriculture, Mechanisation and Water Resources Development.
Meanwhile, President Mnangagwa has also appointed Mr Paul Chikawa as Director General in the President’s Department.
The President has also reassigned Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission Ms Jessie Majome to the position of Commissioner in the Public Service Commission.
The appointments and reassignments are with immediate effect.
