WARRIORS defender Munashe Garananga has completed a transfer deadline-day move to Scottish Premiership side Hibernian, joining the club on loan from FC Copenhagen until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old joined Copenhagen from Belgian outfit KV Mechelen in 2024 in a deal reportedly worth close to £3.5 million and arrives in Scotland with significant top-flight experience.

Garananga has enjoyed success in his career, winning league and cup doubles in Moldova with Sheriff Tiraspol as well as in Denmark.

At international level, he has earned 17 caps for Zimbabwe’s senior national team, the Warriors, and featured twice at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

His move to Scotland sets up a potential meeting with fellow Zimbabwean Tawanda Maswanhise, who remains at Motherwell despite reported interest from several clubs.
