THE Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) on Thursday held a funeral parade for Major General (Retired) Richard Ruwodo at Charles Gumbo Barracks in Harare, as the military honoured one of its distinguished former senior officers.
Commander Zimbabwe Defence Forces, General Emmanuel Matatu, presided over the parade, which was attended by senior military officers, family members, friends and colleagues who gathered to pay their final respects.
Major General (Retired) Ruwodo died on Tuesday at a local hospital in Harare.
He is survived by his wife, Lois and three children.
Mourners remain gathered at House Number 92 Folyjon Crescent, Glen Lorne, Harare, while burial arrangements are expected to be announced in due course.
