Platinum Queens clash with ZDF Queens

THE Premier Netball League returns this weekend with a mouth-watering tie between Platinum Queens and ZDF Queens this Saturday.
It is all to play for in the home stretch of the Premier Netball League, with all the top four teams still in the running for the title.
Now in the second bubble of the second half of the season, mouthwatering ties are on the cards across five different clusters around the country.
All eyes will, however, be on the battle between second-placed Platinum Queens and fourth-seeded ZDF in a Cluster five-match set for in Zvishavane.
Separated by just eight points, none of the teams would wish to slip up at this stage, with first-placed Ngezi and third-matched Fuel eager to fight until the bitter end.
Platinum Queens and ZDF boast strong squads composed of national team players including the likes of Progress Moyo and Elizabeth Mushore who played at the Vitality Netball World Cup which ended earlier this month.
The two sides will also face Lupane and Beitbridge Border Stars on the same day.
Top-placed Ngezi Queens have easier ties in Cluster 2 against Mutare City and ZUPCO who lie 13th and 14th out of 20 teams, before facing 6th-placed Rhinos at home.
In cluster three, Harare District Sports Club, Stormers, Red Wings and Expandable Netball Club will face off in Harare.
In the fourth Cluster, third-placed Green Fuel, Mvurwi, City Angels and Harare City go head-to-head in Mvurwi, while Filchrist Boarding, Waterfalls, Marondera and Filchrist Junior face-off at Filchrist Boarding in the first cluster.
