Herentals have promised fireworks in their Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match against Harare giants, Dynamos at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.
The giant killers are not moved by the fact that they are facing Dynamos in a match day nine encounter slatted for the National Sports Stadium as the students are banking on history.
Just two weeks after claiming the scalp of defending champions, FC Platinum, fearless Herentals have now set their sights on challenging the big boys.
Never mind the fact that they lost 2-1 to Chicken Inn last weekend, Herentals know what they are capable of, and Sunday will be no different.
“We have just shifted the focus to the Dynamos game. We know it’s not going to be an easy one, but we are positive that we can produce a positive result looking at the previous meetings we had with them. The squad is available there are no injuries everyone’s ready for the tie. This is a game that will motivate the players they know that they are facing the seven million of Zimbabwean football, so they must give us the highest performance to play against them,” said Herentals coach, Kumbirai Mutiwekuziva.
On the other hand, Herbert Maruwa’s side are hoping for a bit of consistency after a nil-all stalemate with Triangle at the weekend.
Dynamos have three wins, three draws and a loss, and are in fourth position with 12 points, two ahead of Herentals who lie 10th on the Premier Soccer League table.
