After settling for a goalless draw in a friendly match away to debutants, Sheasham last Saturdat, Highlanders have taken their pre-season preparations to Beitbridge.

Bosso will be in Beitbridge for at least a week with indications that the team’s technical department is using the tour to sharpen the team ahead of the 2023 season.

Highlanders Spokesperson, Nozibelo Maphosa indicated that the training camp is aimed at instilling the Highlanders’ culture in the squad after signing new players.

“We are expected to be here up to Thursday if not Friday. So the main purpose of this off season camp is training, that’s a given, but also we are hoping to use it as a team building exercise, a camp where our players are going to bond with each other. and then our new signings. We want them to learn the Highlanders way of doing things,” he said.

Highlanders have gone on a 17-year barren spell without winning the league title and all eyes will be on the team’s gaffer Baltemer Brito to end the drought.
