ZBC’s Tinashe Rupende buried

IT was an emotional send-off as Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) Midlands Bureau cameraperson, Tinashe Rupende was laid to rest at his rural home in Mt Darwin this Thursday.

Family, friends and colleagues gathered at the Rupende homestead to bid farewell to Tinashe Rupende who died on Monday due to kidney complications.

Speaker after speaker described the soft-spoken cameraperson affectionately known as ‘Big T’ as a rare breed of journalist who was diligent.

He is survived by his wife Primrose Mashegede and two daughters Anashe and Anopaishe.
