DESTINATION Zimbabwe continues to receive international endorsements after the Dubai-based International Travel Awards recently named Dzimbahwe Guest Lodge as the Best Family All-Inclusive Hotel 2023.

The award, conferred at a ceremony held in the United Arab Emirates recently, is a major boost to Zimbabwe’s Tourism Recovery Plan and Growth Strategy aimed at building a five billion United States dollar tourism industry by 2025.

Dzimbahwe Guest Lodge Executive Ms Judith Dzimbanhete said the award will give confidence to travellers into the resort city.

“We are thrilled, this award is internationally recognised, it is good for us as a lodge because people will have confidence in us and our services the world over. It is also good for the country as it is putting Zimbabwe on the global tourism map. It’s a good thing for both Victoria Falls as a destination and for Zimbabwe at large,” she said.
