Residents of Marondera have castigated the United States of America for extending the illegal sanctions against Zimbabwe this week.
With the United States having extended the illegal sanctions this week, residents of Marondera who attended the launch of the Citizens against Economic Sanctions Marondera Chapter condemned the country’s president Joe Biden for the move which they say is meant to drive the regime change agenda.
“We condemn Biden and his government for this illegal move which is meant to drive the regime change agenda as we go towards elections this year,” a resident said.
“These sanctions should be removed as they are hurting the ordinary person as they lie that they are targeted,” noted the Citizens Against Economic Sanctions national chairman, Martin Zharare.
The leadership of the organisations and its stakeholders believe sanctions should be unconditionally removed as they are hurting ordinary citizens.
United States President Joe Biden extended the illegal sanctions by another year a move that has been widely condemned by progressive Zimbabweans.
