A 73-year-old Harare based traditional healer has been dragged to court for alleged aggravated indecent assault.
Paradzai Wambe is alleged to have indecently assaulted the 12-year-old boy since he was eight years old.
The court heard that Wambe, who is based in Harare’s Glen View suburb, invited the boy to his house for the first time in 2019 and sexually abused him before giving him ZW$2.
It is further alleged that the abuse continued over the years and earlier this month, the boy skipped school and went to the accused’s house where he was sexually abused before being given US$2.
The boy’s brother noticed that he was dodging school and upon quizzing him the victim opened up and nailed Wambe.
The accused has been remanded in custody pending trial.
