A daring passenger, 28-year-old Nobert Chikwanha allegedly stole a pirate taxi after he was left in the car by the driver.
Chikwanha allegedly drove off after the complainant had gone to negotiate for parking space.
The vehicle was later found dumped at a shopping centre in Glen Norah, Harare.
Meanwhile, two friends are in trouble after allegedly conniving to steal a car from a car park in the same suburb.
Tendai Katsande aged 37 and Solomon Tseriwa (30), allegedly stole the car before taking it to a garage in Epworth for some repairs.
Investigations led to the arrest of the co-accused and the recovery of the stolen car.
