DeMbare in massive shipping out of players

Story by Anashe Murombedzi

Harare soccer giants, Dynamos have embarked on a massive overhaul of the Glamour Boys which will see captain Partson Jaure and several other players being offloaded after the expiry of their contracts at the end of last month.

In a statement released by Dynamos this Tuesday, Jaure together with Ghanaian defender Sylvester Appiah, Godknows Murwira, Alex Orotomal, Albert Eonde, Ralph Kawondera and Keith Murera, have been shown the exit door.

As the Glamour Boys embark on a massive shipping out of players ahead of the forthcoming season, Prince Edward Academy products Luke Musikiri, Claivert Tshuma and Stephen Chatikobo have also been released back to their fold.

The club is also set to mutually part ways with the duo of Martin Ofori and Evans Katema whose contracts are still valid while Trevor Mavhunga is reported to have found a new club.

Dynamos, however, say a formal announcement of their 2023 squad will be made in due course.

Meanwhile, the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League is set to make its return in February, beginning with a Castle Challenge Cup which will feature Chibuku Super Cup winners Bulawayo Chiefs and Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Champions FC Platinum.
