24-year-old Zimbabwean Hip Hop musician TJ Zimba is proving his mettle at the ongoing Australian idol after making it to the top 10.

The Australian-based rapper continues to blow away judges and fans alike at the contest where he is now among the favourites.

His effortless style proves he has what it takes after he brought the house down with a rendition of ‘Party Rock Anthem’ by LMFAO.

Although the finalists for Australian Idol 2024 have not been revealed yet, TJ is among the top contenders after surviving elimination in the Top 12 when he gave an impressive performance of ‘Bad Guy’ by Billie Eilish.

The Zimbabwean has made a name for himself at the show with polished performances of Justin Bieber’s ‘Peaches’.

Apart from getting recognition, the competition comes with perks for the ultimate winner who will get a recording contract with Sony Music Entertainment Australia and a prize money of US$10 000.
