Former Dynamos coach, Genesis Mangombe has joined ambitious ZIFA Northern Region Division One side, Scottland FC less than 24 hours after dumping the Harare giants.

The youthful coach tendered his resignation late this Monday before being unveiled by Northern Region Division One side, Scottland FC the following day.

Mangombe believes he will show his true colours at the Mabvuku-based club.

“With the right support we can achieve anything I feel here I have everything to showcase what I am fully made of and I believe we will go far,” said Mangombe.

The former Dynamos coach has been given a target to secure promotion to the Premier Soccer League and he takes over with the team in fourth position four points behind log leaders MWORS FC.

Mangombe took over at Dynamos last season with high expectations and managed to deliver the Chibuku Super Cup which was Dynamos first trophy in nine years.

With expectations high that the Glamour Boys will lock on, the club struggled this season managing just six wins in 22 matches.

Meanwhile, Dynamos have appointed veteran Lloyd Chigowe as interim coach but indications are that they are looking for a foreign coach to take over with the club set to play continental football next week.
