On Sunday, the Lock brothers will team up against the Hong Kong pair in the doubles before wrapping up the affair with a switch of opponents from the opening day in the singles.

The team has expressed confidence ahead of the affair.

“I think it’s gonna suit our play a bunch of tall big guys in the team who play super aggressive and I think that’s gonna be a decisive factor for the weekend based on our aggressive mindset,” said Benjamin Lock.

“We are obviously going to rely on Benjie’s and I’s experience and Tatenda has been playing some nice tennis in the Davis CUP and it’s nice to have a new player in the team,” said Courtney Lock.

Back home, the Logan Cup continues this weekend with two matches entering into Day three and four on Saturday and Sunday.

Southern Rocks will seek to crawl closer to Mountaineers at the summit of the first-class cricket league standings as they continue with their battle against the Matabeleland Tuskers.

The most successful franchise in the Cup, Mashonaland Eagles will be looking to also keep the heat on the leading pack as they continue the showdown with Midwest Rhinos.

Domboshava will be a hive of activity as the Mashonaland Pool Association hosts 20 clubs from the province as part of preparations for the national games.

The provincial pool association has stepped up efforts to select a formidable side to challenge for honours at national level by setting up a selection tournament which kicks off on Saturday.
