Under-pressure Simba Bhora take on a resurgent Yadah side at the National Sports Stadium as the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match-day four kicks off this Thursday.

The match will pit two sides with contrasting fortunes.

Simba Bhora have had a rude awakening to the top flight, while Yadah are walking with a spring in their step after getting new investment.

Shamva-based Simba Bhora made noise when they were promoted to the PSL but they have found the going tough with just a point in three matches.

The club made huge investments in experienced players bringing in the likes of former Dynamos captain Partson Jaure, versatile Keith Murera, former FC Platinum defensive midfielder Blessing Moyo and Talent Chawapiwa who was based in South Africa.

In total, Simba Bhora signed 12 players including a foreign goalkeeper and brought in coach, Tonderai Ndiraya who led Dynamos to a third-place finish last season.

Former Dynamos chairperson Isaiah Mupfurutsa also joined the bandwagon coming in as the club’s chairperson.

With all this investment, the club is still to taste victory in the league and they face a Yadah side that has collected four points under new coach, Expense Chitukutuku.

The match is one not many will regard as top billing but it promises a lot. The action continues on Friday with Chicken Inn hosting Highlanders at Barbourfields stadium in a Bulawayo derby, while Black Rhinos take on CAPS United in another city derby.

Winless Herentals travel to Mhondoro Ngezi for a date with Ngezi Platinum Stars, while bottom-of-the-log Green Fuel battle Manica Diamonds in a Manicaland derby which will be played at Gibbo stadium in Triangle.

League returnees, Hwange face newcomers Sheasham at Luveve Stadium on Saturday before ZPC Kariba face Triangle on Sunday at the National Sports Stadium.

Enterprising Dynamos host Cranborne Bullets at the National Sports Stadium on Easter Monday as match-day four concludes.
