MIGHTY Warriors’ head coach Shadreck Mlauzi has engaged a lawyer to help mount a defence in a case he is accused of indecently assaulting a co-worker.
Mlauzi, who was a self-actor during the State’s case, has sought the services of a legal practitioner to help craft a plausible defence in a case he faces charges of indecently assaulting a female member of the technical team.
Mlauzi’s trial was supposed to continue this Tuesday, but was postponed at the instigation of the accused after his lawyer assumed urgency of the matter.
They sought a postponement, arguing that the newly-engaged lawyer wanted time to familiarise himself with the proceedings.
The State warned the accused that he has to come prepared for trial continuation next week as the matter has to be finalised.
The presiding magistrate granted the application for postponement to the 12th of December.
Mlauzi, who is out on bail, is facing two counts of indecent assault.
He allegedly molested the female member of the technical team in Zimbabwe and in South Africa on different occasions.
