FORMER Zimbabwean international and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Khama Billiat may be on his way out of the club after turning down an offer to take a salary cut in a new tabled contract at the Glamour Boys.

Billiat’s contract expired on the 30th of June and under new coach Molefi Ntseki, the attacking midfielder is conspicuous of his absence as Amakhosi are in Mbombela for a pre-season camp.

In a statement on their official website, Amakhosi said following the expiry of Billiat’s contract on the 30th of June, the club tabled an offer to the Zimbabwean marksman to stay at the club but he has not made contact or responded to the club having been seen at the village on the 29th of June.

Billiat has struggled at Amakhosi after becoming a star attraction for years at Mamelodi Sundowns under Pitso Mosimane.

Last season, Billiat spent the better part of the season on the sidelines and making cameo appearances.

The Zimbabwean international managed three goals in ten starts last season, something which has seen management at the club reviewing his value at the club.
