THE Castle Lager Premier Soccer League outstanding fixture between Manica Diamonds and Dynamos has been rescheduled to November 1, at Gibbo stadium.
Genesis Mangombe’s charges who are on 49 points, eight behind log leaders Ngezi Platinum will be hoping to collect maximum points away from Manica Diamonds and keep pressure on the Mhondoro-based side.
Back in May, the two teams shared the spoils in a goalless draw.
However, Dynamos head into the encounter in better form having won their last three games, while Manica Diamonds have one victory in their last five matches with two draws and two losses.
Manica Diamonds are fourth with 47 points and a win would see them leapfrog giants Dynamos into second place.
DeMbare are however under pressure during a busy week in which they have another tricky assignment against city rivals CAPS United in the Chibuku Super Cup semi-finals on Sunday.
It is a defining week in which Chazunguza’s dream of chasing a league and Cup double can be sustained or extinguished.
Meanwhile, the Premier soccer league will take a break this weekend to pave the way for the Chibuku Super Cup semi-finals.
The last four get underway on Saturday as army side Black Rhinos host Ngezi Platinum at Bata stadium in Gweru.
On Sunday, it will be the third Harare Derby of the season as Harare giants Dynamos and CAPS United clash at the National Sports Stadium.
