DeMbare seek consistency

Story by Lawrence Trusida, Sports Editor

HARARE giants, Dynamos, are praying for consistency as they prepare for a date with unpredictable Triangle at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Harare giants are in a buoyant mood after edging city rivals, CAPS United last week.

While the derby victory has boosted morale in the Dynamos camp, Dembare Coach Hebert Maruwa worries about his team’s lack of consistency.

“We need to keep winning for people to take us seriously, the Caps win was huge, but it would mean nothing if we follow it up with a defeat,” he said.

“I told my boys to forget about that as the next match is the most important as we build on the season and try to be consistent,” he added.

Dynamos will welcome right back Willmore Chimbetu after he was cleared to play for the Glamour Boys following his protracted move from Herentals.

DeMbare are fourth on the Castle Lager Premier Soccer Log table with 11 points from six matches, while Triangle are just a point behind, having played a game more.
