Story by Mthokozisi Dube

THE Women’s Super League enters Match Day 23 this weekend with log leaders, the Correctional Queens out to cement pole position when they visit Faith Drive Academy at Nyamauru School grounds in Manicaland this Saturday.

Correctional Queens took over pole position when they thumped struggling Barrow Jets six-nil last weekend.

Second-placed defending champions, Herentals Queens who have two games in hand will visit Police Grounds for a date with Black Mambas in a potentially exciting encounter.

Herentals Queens are tied on 48 points with Harare City who host Conduit Soccer Academy at Dzivarasekwa Stadium.

Perennial campaigners, Black Rhinos Queens welcome fellow army side Chapungu to One Commando Stadium while another army side, Chipembere Queens date Queen Lozikeyi who are waving goodbye to the super league with just four points from 20 matches.

Yadah Queens face MSU at Yadah Stadium, while Maningi Academy have unfinished business with Platinum Royals at Alex Sports Club.

Barrow Jets are on a bye with their match against Masvingo’ Shine Shine having been postponed.
