BRITISH Ambassador to Zimbabwe His Excellency Peter Vowles paid a courtesy call on ZANU PF Secretary General, Dr Obert Mpofu at the party’s headquarters in Harare this Tuesday.

They deliberated on ways of strengthening bilateral relations between Zimbabwe and Britain.

“My role is to strengthen relationships with Zimbabwe. On the just ended general elections, we commend the peaceful nature of elections,” Vowles said.

ZANU PF Secretary General Dr Obert Mpofu said they deliberated on various issues meant to foster bilateral relations.

“We discussed several issues that we feel need attention from both parties to enhance our relationship,” he said.

Zimbabwe’s engagement and re-engagement agenda has opened up for companies in both countries to do business together despite the existence of illegal economic sanctions imposed on the country.
