THE Second Republic’s promise of health care infrastructure in all parts of the country is being fulfilled, with the Mataga health facility in Mberengwa now nearing completion.

The days of walking long distances in search of health care services will soon be over for Mataga villagers in Mberengwa following the construction of a mini hospital by the government.

Villagers expressed gratitude to the government for its commitment towards improving the quality of health services.

For the local leadership, the facility will boost the quality of health care for all in line with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s vision of leaving no one and no place behind in the country’s development matrix.

“We had no facility like this in our district from the previous years but the coming of the second republic has proved to be a game changer. This is a state-of-the-art mini hospital which will cater for all and improve the standards in our district,” said Mr Vafios Hlabati, Mberengwa District Development Coordinator.

The Second Republic is working around the clock in implanting various infrastructure development programmes such as roads, health facilities, schools, dams and major national capital projects.
