12 beauty queens battle it out for coveted crown

ALL is set for one of the most prestigious pageants, the Miss Universe Zimbabwe to be held this Saturday in Harare, with 12 beauty queens in boot camp ahead of the day.
The models are optimistic about taking the crown and are ready to represent at the 72nd edition of the Miss Universe set for El Salvador in November.
“I am grateful to have made it to this point. I am ready to go on stage and win for me to represent the country at the Miss Universe,” said a contestant, Nicole Musiyarira.
Angela Guta another contestant added, “I have learned a lot from boot camp. I am passionate about making an impact in society and will make sure I do my best.”
“I am so excited and I am ready,” said contestant Prudence Moyo.
The winner of this Saturday’s pageant will represent the country at the Miss Universe.
Zimbabwe will make its return to the global stage this year after its last appearance in 2001.
