OVER 20 African countries are participating at this year’s Africa Travel Indaba (ATI) in Durban, South Africa, with Zimbabwe seeking to create synergies that will drive growth in the tourism sector.

The conference which kicked off this Tuesday is a major platform for local tourism players to showcase and market destination Zimbabwe while also creating synergies with other African countries.

The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority is leading the Zimbabwean delegation which comprises officials from the Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe and local tourism players.

The ATI is one of the largest tourism marketing events on the continent as it is a platform for African countries to market their destinations while also offering them an opportunity to network with international buyers and the media.
