ZIMBABWE ladies’ volleyball team versatile player, Jennipher Tembo has signed a five-year performance-based contract with the top Rwandan side, Rwanda Revenue Authority Volleyball Club based in Kigali.

The 21-year-old player will now take her talent to Rwanda after two years in Malawi where she turned out for Wolves.

The versatile Tembo is not only limited to setting as she can also play as a middle blocker and outside spiker and is also good in back-row defense.

Tembo joined Malawi’s Wolves Ladies from the Midlands-based side, Spartans Volleyball team in 2022 after a stellar year in the Central Region Volleyball League season.

The up-and-coming star was voted the Most Valuable Player and Best Spiker in November last year at the Malawi National Tournaments.

Rwanda is ranked among the top five nations in African volleyball and finished fourth at last year’s African Women’s Championships.
