The Zimbabwe Federation of Trade Unions (ZFTU) is holding its main Workers Day celebrations at Chinotimba stadium in Victoria Falls in line with government’s devolution agenda.
This year’s celebrations are focusing on the role of workers in the attainment of Vision 2030.
ZFTU Secretary General Cde Kennias Shamuyarira has commended the operationalisation of the Tripartite Negotiating Forum to champion the creation of a level playing field for labour, industry and government.
Cde Shamuyarira also implored investors who come into the country to respect and uphold the country’s labour laws to ensure the attainment of Vision 2030.
