President Mnangagwa leaves for Non-Aligned Movement summit

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has left the country for Kampala, Uganda, where he will join other leaders at the 19th Non–Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit.
The President was seen off at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by Vice President Cde Kembo Mohadi, Senior Government Officials and service chiefs.
President Mnangagwa is expected to engage his counterparts on the way forward in the development agenda.
The meeting of Non-Aligned Movement members is being held when Zimbabwe is forging ahead with the re-engagement and engagement drive in line with vision 2030 aspirations of an upper middle-income society by 2030.
Uganda is hosting the NAM Summit which will be followed by the G77 plus China Indaba with the focus on facilitating more business and investment engagements as well as discussions on trade and investments including food security.
