President Mnangagwa describes Baba Guti as a unifier

Story by ZBCReporter

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has described the late national hero and ZAOGA Forward In Faith founder Archbishop Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti as a unifier and champion of entrepreneurship.

He was speaking at the late Archbishop Guti’s national farewell service held at the National Sports Stadium in Harare today where thousands of ZAOGA FIF church members converged to pay their last respects to the church’s founder who died last month.

President Mnangagwa said Zimbabweans are grateful to the late Archbishop Guti as he was one of the first individuals who formed indigenous churches in the country.

The president said the late national hero will also be remembered for championing and prioritising national development through his social, educational and economic programmes.

The late Archbishop Guti will be buried at a private ceremony.

Baba Guti was accorded national hero status in recognition of his immense contribution to the development of the country.
