President Emmerson Mnangagwa has formally congratulated Russian President, Vladimir Putin on his re-election following the holding of polls from March 15-17.

He said he welcomes Russia’s support in the country’s vision of developing the agricultural sector in line with Vision 2030.

The donation, President Mnangagwa says, shows the deep desire of Russia to see Zimbabwe economically strong and it is commendable.

He added that Zimbabwe will continue to take notes from the Euro-Asian giant which is a major grain producer globally.

The President highlighted that the country will continue to engage with The Russian Federation in other agricultural practices to see the continued positive growth of the sector and value addition.
