THE Africa Travel Indaba, which is an annual showcase for tourism players across Africa, has ended in Durban, South Africa.

A total of 21 countries took part in this year’s showcase with the rallying call being for African countries to work together in promoting destination Africa.

The Indaba saw tourism players showcasing various goods and services, among them accommodation, cuisines, tourism destinations, traditional wear, health and wellness and entertainment.

The Zimbabwean delegation showcased its prime tourism destinations such as Victoria Falls, the Great Zimbabwe and many game reserves, with several tourists who spoke to ZBC News confirming interest to visit the country.

The fair was also used for networking, with exhibitors, buyers and the media coming together.
