THE Nomination Court for the by-elections will sit in Bulawayo, Gwanda, Harare, and Lupane this Tuesday, to accept papers from prospective candidates after the recall of some Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) legislators from Parliament.

Nine National Assembly seats fell vacant following the recalls by the CCC interim Secretary General, Sengezo Tshabangu.

Candidates from various political parties as well as independent ones will be filling their papers at the nomination courts.

Bulawayo Province has a total of five vacant National Assembly seats, Bulawayo South, Cowdray Park, Lobengula-Magwegwe, Lupane East, Mpopoma-Mzilikazi and Nketa constituencies.

The Nomination Court is sitting at the Tregold Magistrates Court to receive papers for aspiring candidates in these constituencies.

Candidates vying for the Beitbridge West Parliamentary seat will converge at Gwanda Magistrates Court, those vying for Binga North will submit papers at Lupane Magistrates Court and candidates vying for Mabvuku-Tafara constituency will submit at the Harare Magistrates Court.

The courts will sit from 10am and close doors at 4pm.

The by-elections are set for December 9.
