MANICALAND province has experienced landslides this Monday as a result of strong winds and rains affecting some parts of the province.

A landslide blocked Nyanga Road leading to the popular Troutbeck Hotel, with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development and the Department of Civil Protection mobilising machinery to clear the debris.

Manicaland Secretary for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Mr Edgar Seenza confirmed the development, revealing that the debris has since been cleared with the road now passable.

He also said another landslide which occurred along the Mutare – Nyanga Road has been cleared.
