Local contractors record brisk business at ZITF

AS ZITF 2023 nears, contractors are excited over business generated so far.

The success of ZITF is measured by the amount of business generated in a given year.

For this year’s edition, even before the official start of trade showcase, good business has been recorded with contractors burning the midnight oil sprucing up stands.

Those who spoke to ZBC NEWS said they are happy that government departments have issued them contracts to do design and prepare their stands saying business is already in and hope to secure more contracts as companies and government go for regional and international exhibitions.

“To us as contractors we are already benefiting from ZITF 2023 and this time government has also entrusted us to handle their stands which is local beneficiation and we are happy and committed,” said a contractor.

“Getting these contracts is good business for us as local contractors and surely ZITF is a cash cow for us and we want exhibitors to continue trusting us to do their stands because this also create employment for locals,” noted another.

ZITF 2023 has attracted a huge contingent of foreign exhibitors as the government’s re-engagement drive continues to bear fruit.
