THE 31st session of the Junior Parliament has convened in Harare after the election of the new Child President, Neville Mavu this Monday.
Proceedings began with the Junior President inspecting the guard of honour, in the presence of President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Issues expected discussed during the session include drug and substance abuse, early marriages and protection of children in the digital era.
The opening of the 31st Session of the Junior parliament coincides with commemorations to mark the Day of the African Child.
