THE stage is set for one of the biggest matches in local football as the Harare Derby featuring bitter rivals CAPS United and Dynamos takes centre stage at Rufaro Stadium this Sunday.
The two Zimbabwean football giants will clash in an anticipated electric encounter, with the Green Machine seeking to break the jinx which has seen them playing second fiddle to Dynamos in recent years.
Dynamos who have had a poor start to the season are also eager to revive their campaign in what is expected to be a sold-out crowd at the ceremonial home of local football.
With just four points separating them, the stakes are high.
Makepekepe are sixth on the PSL table with 16 points, while Dynamos who are sitting on 10th position with 12 points, will be hoping to dust themselves from the ugly scenes witnessed at Rufaro stadium during their one-all draw with Herentals.
PSL action starts on Saturday as defending champions Ngezi Platinum Stars welcome TelOne at Baobab Stadium, Bikita Minerals host Chegutu Pirates at Sakubva Stadium, while Herentals play Bulawayo Chiefs at Rufaro Stadium.
Arenel Movers take on Yadah at Luveve Stadium, FC Platinum entertain Hwange at Mandava Stadium, while ZPC Kariba host Highlanders at Nyamhunga Stadium.
On Sunday, Simba Bhora travel to Luveve to face Chicken Inn, while the clash between log leaders Manica Diamonds and Green Fuel is set for Sakubva Stadium.
