Free medical services at the Agricultural show

THE Ministry of Health and Child Care enclosure has emerged as one of the most popular stands at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show, with the public receiving free medical services.
Those who thronged the Ministry’s stand are appreciative of the government’s move to offer free medical treatment and services.
“I got screened for cervical cancer here at the show and am now waiting for my results. I would also like to urge other women out there to get screened regularly for cervical cancer,” said one of the beneficiaries.
Another added, “I got my teeth checked and I also got a lot of information on how to take care of my teeth which I believe is very helpful.”
“I got my eyes checked and went through some tests. The optician prescribed some reading glasses, and I also got them for free, which is commendable,” another beneficiary reiterated.
Another commended, “I am grateful for the services being offered here, the staff is very efficient and the cherry on top is that the services are for free.”
Services on offer include laparoscopy, free HIV testing, family planning, counselling, oral health services as well as cervical cancer screening.
