HARARE giants Dynamos are confident of continuing with their winning run when they take on defending Premier Soccer League champions, FC Platinum at Barbourfields stadium in Bulawayo this Saturday.

The Glamour Boys are on a two-match winning run after overcoming a five-match winless run ahead of their blockbuster encounter against the defending champions on Saturday.

Due to a lack of fit venues in Harare, DeMbare have been forced to use Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo as their home ground, and they are not worried.

“Barbourfields is our second home, we love playing there and the team usually performs better so we are hoping to continue with our run when we play FC Platinum, it’s not an easy match, but we have the momentum,” asserted Dynamos coach, Herbert Maruwa.

Former FC Platinum defender and now Dynamos vice-captain, Kelvin Moyo, who ironically was raised in Bulawayo, concurs with his coach.

“That is a special match you don’t need any motivation to play those kinds of games. We are happy to play at BF because the pitch is very good especially for a passing game and as a Bulawayo boy I will be at home,” he said.

Another former FC Platinum player is determined to show the defending champions what they lost.

“I know I didn’t play in the league for them, but am determined to show them what I can do, and maybe what I could have done for them. Above all I hope to continue scoring and help the club now that I managed to find the back of the net,” Dynamos forward Eli Ilunga added.

The two teams come into the match in good form, Dynamos are starting to find a bit of consistency after winning their last two matches, while FC Platinum are also back on track with four victories in their last four matches.
