Chipangano sack head coach

BOTTOM placed Hwange Football Club, popurlarly known as Chipangano, have part ways with head coach, Nation Dube after a string of poor results.
Hwange will be hoping for a change of fortune when they visit former Champions FC Platinum at Mandava Stadium on Saturday after a new broom swept through the coal mining town.
All has not been well for Chipangano, who anchor the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League table with just seven points from 11 matches.
The coal miners last tasted victory in March when they beat Yadah one-nil at the Colliery stadium in Hwange.
The poor results have since claimed the scalp of Nation Dube and his entire backroom staff.
Chipangano are now pinning their hopes on caretaker coach Njabulo Dube.
“I do agree that our position on the log is not good at all, but we are in the early stages of the league, and I believe we can still come out of that situation if we work with the same that we have been working with in the past 2 games or so. We have not been getting the desired results but the team has been playing well and soon we will really get those points that’s what everyone is aiming for,” said Chipangano caretaker coach, Njabulo Dube.
FC Platinum who downed Bulawayo giants Highlanders two-nil at the weekend are no pushovers and the new technical team could have prayed for an easier opponent at this stage.
