Bulawayo giants, Highlanders face an uphill task when they take on bogey side, Cranborne Bullets in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match set for the National Sports Stadium in Harare this Saturday.

After dropping four points in their last two league outings against new boys, Sheasham and Simba Bhora, Highlanders are praying for redemption when the face Cranborne Bullets in the capital on Saturday.

Bosso have not scored in their last two matches and the giants are aware of the threat posed by rejuvenated Cranborne Bullets who are walking with a spring in their step after two successive victories.

“We have been dropping points of late and we are facing a difficulty team that has been collecting points of late but we are ready for the game,” noted Highlanders captain, Ariel Sibanda.

“We need to score as a team not to shoulder the blame on strikers but we are optimistic goals will come this Saturday,” emphasised Highlanders defender, Peter Mudhuwa.

The two senior Highlanders players know the immediate focus is Cranborne Bullets before hosting Dynamos in their rescheduled league match on Africa Day.

“We know the Dynamos game has been rescheduled but at the moment our focus is on the Bullets game. We will talk about the Dynamos game after the bullets game,” said Sibanda.

Highlanders are second on the Premier Soccer League table with 16 points after playing eight matches and trail log leaders, Ngezi Platinum Stars who have played a game more by just a point.
