President Mnangagwa caps morr than 3 000 CUT graduates

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has capped some 3 484 graduands at the Chinhoyi University of Technology.

The graduation ceremony is the university’s 19th.

The President, who is also the institution’s Chancellor, individually capped those who attained post graduate degrees and undergraduates with first class degrees.

Of the total graduands, 24 were awarded doctorate degrees with two overall best students having been awarded the Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa prize worth US$1000 each.

The University Vice Chancellor, Professor David Simbi lauded the 5.0 education model which he described as a bedrock of academic education which is yielding positive results in the fields of innovation and industrialisation.
