THE body of the murdered Guruve girl has been taken to Guruve for the burial set for this Friday.
As the family of the murdered 3-year-old girl wait for the results of the postmortem from the Zimbabwe Republic Police Forensic section to ascertain the actual cause of death; the father and uncle confirmed that burial will be on Friday, pleading for justice to be served.
“I just want to plead to the nation to report any information which may lead to the capture of the murderers,” said the father, Mr. Kudakwashe Mwakubwaga.
“The postmortem has been done; we are now waiting for the results to come in not more than 2 weeks. At the moment we are now moving the body to Guruve. The girl will be buried this Friday and People will be traveling today. We will do anything that we can to bring culprits to book.”
Indications are that on the 17th of January 2024, the 3-year-old girl went out to play with other children but never came back.
Her decomposing body was found a few days later with some parts missing.
Zimbabwe Republic Police National Spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident.
