The body of an unidentified man has been found dumped in a car outside Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals in Harare this Monday.
Blood stains could be seen on the lifeless body, raising suspicions that the man could have been murdered.
One of the first people to arrive at the scene, Lameck Kwari, gave a witness account.
“I was one of the first to arrive. I saw the man and touched him on his stomach to see if he was still alive, but unfortunately he was already dead. I rushed to the police to report. It is really sad,” Kwari told the ZBC News.
Incidents of this nature have left members of the community worried over lack of respect for human life.
A witness said, ‘‘This is sad and scary at the same time. How can people be so heartless?”
A witness said, ‘‘We are no longer safe at all when people find it easy to kill like this. I don’t know what happened with this guy but he did not deserve to die like this.’’
Police have since attended the scene and launched an investigation into the matter.
