MARKETERS have been challenged to embrace emerging marketing trends to promote brand Zimbabwe
With marketing trends constantly changing, there is growing emphasis on the need for marketers to embrace the new global inclination to stay relevant.
Officially launching a new marketing business institute in Harare this Thursday, the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Senator Monica Mutsvangwa spoke on the importance of keeping abreast with new marketing trends.
“Marketing is very critical so it is important that we have professionals who are able to promote brand Zimbabwe,” she said.
“We are now in the digital era and so it is important that we keep up with the trends. This institution is important in that it will help train professionals who will be able to penetrate the global market.”
Marketers Association of Zimbabwe vice president Mr Liberty Kazhanje said their aim is to churn-out professional marketers.
“We continue to strive for the best and marketing is critical hence we shall continue to ensure we train professional marketers who will contribute to marketing the country,” he said.
Marketing Brand Zimbabwe has been one of the Second Republic’s priorities, with the country having launched the Brand Zimbabwe campaign with the objective of telling the true Zimbabwean story.
