United States-based Zimbabwean comedian; Alfred Kainga who has made it big on the international stage is set to showcase his talent back home next month.
The United States-based comedian, who has been flying the country’s flag high on the international scene, is set to give his countryman a taste of his craft at an event dubbed the ‘Alfred Kainga homecoming comedy nights.’
The star, who won the 2023 USA Breakout Comedian of the Year last month, confirmed the shows through his social media pages.
The first show will be in Bulawayo on the 22nd of next month before hosting his second event in Harare on the 23rd.
Kainga is set to share the stage with rising stand-up comedians Tinaye, Ian Phiri and Tanya Alex.
The celebrated comedian has proved his mettle after performing at several high-profile festivals and sold-out shows in the United States of America.
He has become a household name in the industry, having performed at the New York Apollo Theatre, which has housed some of the best comedians in the world.
