Musicians set the tone for Valentine’s Day

Story by Patience Nyagato

ZIMBABWEAN musicians have set the tone for Valentine’s Day with easy to the ear love melodies coming from the likes of Chipo Muchegwa and Master H.

Trust Zimbabwean musicians to deliver when it matters the most.

They have done it again with love melodies setting the tone for one of the biggest days on the human calendar.

Valentine’s is a day where love leads, as couples cement their special bond with gifts and this year Zimbabweans are spoilt for choice.

From love ballads to dance songs they are all up for the taking.

A trusted hand when it comes anything to do with love, Chipo Muchengwa dished her best once again with her song ‘Vhale’ which has been receiving positive reviews from fans.

Not to be outdone is rising Zimdancehall star, Master H who has released an Afro-fusion song ‘Long Time-Valentine’ described as a cheesy love song.

Holy Ten’s Album ‘Risky Life’ came just in time with his legion of fans describing ‘Ndotokuda’ a collaborative effort with his wife Kimberly as a perfect valentine’s gift that has hyped the mood.

A collaborative effort by Leo Magozz and Gemma Griffiths, “My Baby” is also a perfect fit.

With all these gems in place, it’s now left for lovebirds to enjoy and for music fans to choose which rhythm to vibrate to come Valentine’s Day.
