As the curtain comes down at the Miss Intercontinental Pageant currently underway in Egypt, 27-year-old Manicaland beauty Life Matunzeni is representing the country, competing with more than 70 beauty queens from around the world in Egypt’s Sharm El Sheikh City.
A national costume competition will be held later this Thursday which precedes the final competition on Friday where a queen will be crowned at the same event.
Countries participating at the pageant include Zimbabwe, Philippine, Vietnam, the United States of America and Ghana, among others.
Meanwhile, at the Miss Earth currently underway in Vietnam, voting for Best Bikini is now being conducted on Facebook, with Zimbabweans being encouraged to vote for Courtney Jongwe who is representing the country.
Zimbabwe failed to make it into the Top 5 Best Appearance which was based on social media votes earlier this week.
Mongolia, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar and Cambodia won the Best Appearance awards.
The Miss Earth preliminary swimsuit and national costume competition is set for the 16th of this month, with the final and coronation competition slated for the 22nd of this month.
