HERENTALS will be seeking revenge and a major boost to their Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title ambitions when they host leaders Hardrock at Rufaro Stadium this Sunday.
The Students are looking to avenge the emphatic 4-1 defeat they suffered at the hands of Hardrock earlier this season at Chahwanda Stadium, a result that remains one of their heaviest losses of the campaign.
Since then, Herentals have enjoyed an impressive resurgence and head into Sunday’s blockbuster in fine form. They have won six, drawn three and lost just one of their last 10 league matches, including a hard-fought 1-0 victory in their previous outing.
The clash could prove pivotal in the title race.
Herentals sit fourth on 36 points, three behind the league leaders, and victory would significantly tighten the race at the summit while keeping their championship aspirations firmly on course.
