President Mnangagwa departs Windhoek after attending historic inauguration

SADC Chairperson President Emmerson Mnangagwa has left Windhoek for Harare after witnessing the inauguration of Namibia’s fifth President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah at the country’s state house in Windhoek.

The inauguration coincided with the country’s 35th independence celebrations.

President Mnangagwa was seen off at the Hosea Kutako International Airport by Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Namibia, Melody Chaurura, embassy officials and the host government officials.
