The Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) continues this Thursday, with Vice President General Retired Dr Constantino Chiwenga being the Guest of Honour at the inaugural Connect Africa Symposium.
The symposium has brought together locals as well as regional political and economic players to look at possible solutions to the socio-economic challenges facing the African continent.
Chaired by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Honourable Sekai Nzenza, the symposium is also being attended by a representative of the United Economic Commission for Africa, Mr Batanai Chikwene and the Angolan Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, Honourable Amadeu Leitão Nunes.
The emphasis of the Symposium, which is running under the theme: ‘Re-Imagining the Future: A united, A Prosperous Africa’ is on uniting Africa for prosperity.’
The platform is also focusing on strengthening trade and productive integration through industrial policy which harnesses regional value chains.
